Mild peri-anal soft tissue infection
Antibiotic Therapy (before prescribing, read the Notes / Comments section below)

Co-amoxiclav oral 625mg 8 hourly

If true penicillin / beta-lactam allergy:

Doxycycline* oral 100mg 12 hourly

and

Metronidazole oral 400mg 8 hourly

Total course duration: 7 days.
